Judy Wise Journal Pages Continued...and a couple that I just did "own my own."

I loved the upside down "Picasso" assignment

made this "stamp" of me as a child in photoshop so I could then

make the stamp into a stencil which I laboriously cut out (very difficult for me.)

the repeating assignment which I have done many times before...subject: my aging body

this is all about my boring life (and some other stuff)

trying to do the transparency transfers...the praying hands on the left and a dragonfly on the top right

(the praying hands did not transfer well, so I just put the transparency

over the page.)

New Handmade 8 x 10 Art Journal

I finally made my journal for Judy Wise's online class. As usual, I had trouble with the spine (too flimsy and holes not lining up right.) The front cover is a copy of a painting I did for Misty Mawn's online class and the back cover is a journal spread I also did as an assignment for Misty's class. It's really fun working in this size journal (my usual journals are smaller.) I still have to add beads to the strings hanging off of the spine.

I'm behind in my "assignments" for Judy Wise's class, plus I still need to get more art supplies, like the blue blocks and foam stuff to make rubber stamps. PLUS I have to cut out more pages and finish making my 8x10 art journal. (The one pictured here is in my "old" current journal which is a little smaller.)

AND ANOTHER THING...I am not liking this "dynamic view" format that I selected for blogger but I can't get my old format (with banner and side bars ) back because I didn't back it up or "save" it evidently.

New Art Journal

Just finished making my newest art journal. Even though I'm taking the Misty Mawn online workshop, I decided on doing my usual Teesha Moore method of bookbinding. (Misty shows how to do a coptic binding in her class...which I'm definitely going to try next (but for a smaller journal.)

Only a few pages left to finish in this art journal. And then...I'll be starting a new one. Or maybe I will take a break and finish up my big flower crocheted scarf.
