I don't understand why blogger doesn't put up the pictures in the order I downloaded them.  The Roman Casas self portrait was supposed to be first, then my pastel version, then my acrylic version and THEN my charcoal sketch of a Budhha-esque person which has nothing to do with the self portrait paintings. I also tried to "drag and drop" the Buddha picture to the bottom, but of of course that didn't work either.

What I've Been Painting and Sketching

I had previously posted about 6 pictures here but had to delete the whole post because I found out that they were downloading multiple times, unbeknownst (sp?) to me. So here goes AGAIN.

A New Acrylic Painting for Misty's Open Studio Workshop

I had to force myself to stop working and re-working the background layers. Actually, after I photographed this,  I went back and added some rubber stamps, then went back and painted over them. This is on Fabriano 140 lb. hot press watercolor paper (9x12.)

I loved the upside down "Picasso" assignment

made this "stamp" of me as a child in photoshop so I could then

make the stamp into a stencil which I laboriously cut out (very difficult for me.)
